Our Core Principle

BeSafe is built on one fundamental principle: your data belongs to you. We don't collect, store, or process your personal financial data on our servers.

What We Collect

Email address — for account creation and license key delivery
License key — to verify your subscription status
Device fingerprint — a non-identifying hash to enforce the 2-device limit

What We Do NOT Collect

Your financial data (transactions, balances, categories)
Your personal notes or documents
Your passwords or sensitive information stored in BeSafe
Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
Advertising identifiers

Where Your Data Lives

All financial data, notes, and personal information are stored exclusively on your device. BeSafe does not create server-side copies of your data — not even encrypted ones.

License Verification

The app sends only your license key (an encrypted identifier) to our server once per month to verify subscription status. No personal or financial data is included in this check.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. BeSafe never sees or stores your credit card information.

Data Retention

If you cancel your subscription, your data remains on your device and is never deleted. The app switches to read-only mode. You can export your data at any time.

Third Parties

Stripe — payment processing only
Supabase — stores only email, license key, and subscription status
Gmail SMTP — sends transactional emails only

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.
